Tasmanian Devils

Super Scavengers was shot while Chris was based at Trowunna Wildlife Park in Mole Creek in Northern Tasmania.  Trowunna is owned and directed by Androo Kelly, who you may have seen on many Animal Planet shows.  The sanctuary has been involved in the active conservation of Tasmanian devils for 25 years.  Trowunna also has one of the largest captive population of devils. These animals incorporated into an insurance population, as the wild population is heavily reduced by a mystery disease.  DFTD or Devil Facial Tumour Disease has wiped out 50% of the wild population of devils in the last 10 years

is involved in the

Australian Dingo Conservation Association

They do some very important work in trying to save this iconic Australian.  The Australian Dingo Conservation Association is a non-profit organisation formed to protect the Australian dingo, and to lobby governments to amend legislation to remove the dingo from noxious listings in Australia and to promote scientific research and maintain a pure gene pool of dingoes for the heritage of this country

Check out

as it has some great information.
